A number of rare Colonial banknotes featured in Kagin's Auctions Part 2 of Highlights from the John J. Ford collection achieved record prices on September 25, 2023.

Kagin's Auctions of Tiburon California will be offering Significant Notes from the John J. Ford Colonial Currency Collection in their Part 2 online auction on September 23, 2023, at 4PM Pacific. The 216 lots constitute approximately 60% of the 375 notes of the entire collection which is considered one of the finest collections of Colonial Bank Notes.

Several other Revere notes including his famous “Sword in Hand” series also brought record prices.

Part 1 offers 145 lots alphabetically arranged by Colonies including Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New Jersey.

World gold coins from the Hesselgesser Collection performed exceptionally well in Kagin's April sale.

Kagin's Auctions will be offering free educational presentations prior to three sessions in conjunction with their upcoming March 11th and 12th auction.
